My name is Zsolt Marosi, I am 55 years old, a certified specialist in jewelry appraisal, a proud parent and grandparent. Throughout my life, I have been guided by precision, a love for detail, and respect for quality – after all, the value of a jewel is decided by the tiniest nuance. Perhaps that is why fate led me down such a unique path, one that fundamentally changed my view on health, our food, and the true meaning of conscious choice.
My story is not about money. I was not driven by quick success, nor by creating another market app. It came from a much deeper motivation: the realization that what we often call “healthy eating” today is, in many cases, only an illusion.
The 1.5-year struggle
For one and a half years, working alone for eighteen hours a day, I dedicated myself to bringing the Benjalex Professor app to life. During this time, I read and studied everything I could: materials, studies, and recommendations from WHO, EFSA, NÉBIH, and other official organizations. I returned to them again and again, taking notes, comparing, verifying – making sure nothing was left out, nothing was inaccurate.
I processed every single rule separately, integrating thousands of regulations and guidelines. I spent countless nights in front of my computer, often getting up at 2:30 in the morning just to sleep a few hours. Endless deletions, rewritings, checks, and restarts accompanied my journey. Outwardly, a “simple” app was born – one that analyzes a label in seconds – but behind it lies a year and a half of sweat, perseverance, and sacrifice.
And meanwhile, my worldview slowly but surely transformed. When I began, I thought the “world of E-numbers” was not serious. Today, I know: those small-print lines can determine health, illness, or quality of life.
The realization
Why I had to take a different path
All food apps until then were built on a single principle: the barcode. If the product was in the database, the app recognized it. If not, you were left with nothing.
But I wanted more. Something that doesn’t search a database but analyzes reality. That is how the revolutionary principle of Professor Benjalex was born:

Emotions and dedication
For that year and a half, I almost ceased to exist to the outside world. I gave all my energy, attention, and faith. I was not driven by greatness, but by perfection. By the need to fully realize the dream I had envisioned.
When the application was finally born, I felt the same as when a child comes into the world. That is why the name is no coincidence either: “Benjalex” combines the names of my two grandchildren, Benjamin and Alex. For me, this is not just a program – it is a legacy, a message I pass on to the next generations.
The developers and gratitude
When I had completed the full concept, I reached out to the top 10 app development companies in Hungary. I explained the idea, the dream, the principle of operation in detail. Yet some never replied. Some hid behind excuses. Some wanted to change the concept to make it simpler. No one said it outright, but the reality was clear: they found it too much to handle.
And then I found the team at Webinit SRL. I owe special thanks to Előd Pelei and Zoltán Somogyvári, who believed with me that it was possible. They didn’t question it, didn’t want to rewrite my dream – they helped make it a reality.
